Therapeutic Approach:
The key value of integrative psychotherapy is its individualized approach. The integrative approach aims to bring together the affective, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological systems within a person, with an awareness of the social and transpersonal aspects of the systems surrounding the person.
It provides adaptation of the therapy to the distinctive characteristics and needs of each individual by allowing the therapist to tailor their knowledge of evidence-based treatments and approaches. The main emphasis is on the therapeutic relationship, the therapist's flexibility, and the client's motivation, all considered key elements of therapeutic change.
How I work:
In my therapy practice, I combine therapeutic tools and elements from various theoretical approaches and research to fit the client's needs. The client is seen as an active participant in the therapy.
I choose an appropriate theoretical model and apply it in a flexible and integrative way to inspire hope and provide clients with corrective emotional experience, attention, empathy, and respect which allows clients to develop an alternative and more plausible view of the self and the world also as more spontaneity and flexibility in problem-solving.
Recent blog/writing:
I attended the “Brainspotting: working with addictions and other unwanted behaviors” workshop recently.
Personal:
I love people, animals, and nature, and enjoy simple things that make life beautiful. I believe in the power of the reparative relationship that can lead to a significant change and self-actualization in the individual.
