DISTANCE THERAPY
Distance therapy is the use of an online audio/video service to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own home.
I use an online service called Doxy. There is no download required. It is free to use. Doxy is HIPPA compliant and uses encrypted point-to-point connections. This creates a secure and confidential way to communicate.
At the time of your appointment, please be sure you are in a quiet space that is free from distractions. It is important that you feel safe.
Simply click the link below and a new window will open on your computer, phone, or tablet. You will be asked to enter your name. You will then be placed in the "waiting room" and I will see you there and invite you to connect. See "Therapy for Individuals" for more information. Distance Therapy is also available for Couples or Relationship Therapy as a back-up but is not recommended as the primary source.
You will need to use Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser. Phones and tablets may require you to download the "Doxy.me" application.
