Distance therapy is the use of an online audio/video service to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own home.
I use an online service called Doxy. There is no download required. It is free to use. Doxy is HIPPA compliant and uses encrypted point-to-point connections. This creates a secure and confidential way to communicate.
At the time of your appointment, please be sure you are in a quiet space that is free from distractions. It is important that you feel safe.
Simply click the link below and a new window will open on your computer, phone, or tablet. You will be asked to enter your name. You will then be placed in the "waiting room" and I will see you there and invite you to connect. See "Therapy for Individuals" for more information. Distance Therapy is also available for Couples, Relationship, or Family Therapy as a back-up but is not recommended as the primary source.
